Why choose us

What would your pet prefer?

Home visits are ideal for cats, rabbits, and other smaller pets, as well as for sensitive dogs. Think about the experience from the point of view of your pet -for a typical visit to a veterinary clinic, there is the stress of being loaded into a carrier and transported to an unfamiliar place, there are the smells and sounds of other animals in the waiting room, there is the stress of being examined and handled in a consulting room that may be filled with the smell and fine hair of other animals. It all adds up quickly and so it should come as no surprise that your otherwise sweet pet may start to act out due to stress. We offer another option-invite us to your home so that the consult can occur in a comfortable, familiar place with minimum stress for your pet.

What would you prefer?

You lead a busy life and your time is precious. Driving and finding parking in London can be difficult and taking public transport can be stressful for both you and your pet. Even if you arrive at the veterinary clinic on time, you may have to sit in a waiting room while the vet completes the previous consult. With us, you will not have to waste your time travelling or sitting in a waiting room.

What about privacy?

Privacy is best protected when you expose less. People are more curious than cats and like to chat. We are different. We are discreet and respect your privacy.

Office visit

Office visits can be a great option, in particular for dogs whose owners are busy professionals. Our visit to your office can be arranged as an individual appointment (just like a home visit) or as a group event

Office visit- Individual

This is great for busy professionals especially when you are spending long hours at work and can not find time to go to see a vet during your working hours. If your work place is friendly to pets coming to work with their humans, simply ask them if inviting a vet over to your office during your break is welcomed.

Office visit- Group event

An increasing number of companies are allowing their employees to bring their pets to the work place, as studies suggest this may reduce employee stress levels and increase productivity. Whether coming to work with pets is a yearly event or a regular at your company, why not make it more special by inviting a vet over and offer company sponsored free check-up and veterinary advice? We have various types of group event ready for clients ranging from informative presentations to hands-on clinical sessions. Such group events can also be used for private group gatherings. Please contact us for further information.

I hope to make people realize how totally helpless animals are, how dependent on us, trusting as a child must that we will be kind and take care of their needs.

Visit and consult

We visit you at your home or office and discuss any concerns you have and examine your pet. Treatment options will then be discussed and we will answer all of your questions. Treatment option will be tailored based on you and your pet's personality and lifestyle needs. This visit usually last up to 40 minutes. We see dogs, cats, rabbits and smaller pets such as ferrets, guinea pigs, and hamsters.

Blood and urine samples can be collected during the visit to enable common tests to be run. Also, minor procedures such as treating small cuts or abscesses can be completed during the visit.

Visit and vaccination

This replaces your annual visit to a veterinary clinic. We give your pet a check-up from head to toe and give vaccine booster injections as required. For dogs, this would include DHPPi (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo virus and Parainfluenza virus) vaccine and Leptospirosis vaccine.  For cats, this would include RCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calici virus and Panleucopenia) and FeLV (Feline leukaemia virus) vaccine.

If you are concerned regarding annual vaccination, we are more than happy to discuss a way to assess your pet's immunity through blood antibody titre test.

In order for your dog or cat to travel with you in EU countries, you need an EU pet passport. We have an official veterinarian who can issue an EU pet passport where the relevant requirements are met. The price includes a home visit, a rabies vaccination and issuing an EU pet passport. If a new microchip needs to be inserted (either because your pet is not microchipped or the current microchip is not reading properly), there is small additional charge of £30.

Step 1. We will read your pet's microchip. If your pet is not microchipped or current microchip is not reading properly, a new one has to be inserted before step2.

Step 2. then rabies vaccination is given (injection).

Step 3. pet passport is issued. You must wait 21 days before you travel from the date of the rabies vaccination.

Ultrasound scan

Ultrasound scans are a very effective and non-invasive way of examining your pet's internal organs and soft tissues. For example, ultrasound scans are particularly useful for examining liver, kidneys, bladders and intestines for dogs and cats. Many clients also request pregnancy scans for their pets. Unlike radiographs, ultrasound scans do not expose your pet to harmful x-rays. We bring a portable ultrasound machine to your home and you can hold your pet while our vet performs the scan. A quiet and dark room is the best place for an ultrasound scan.

Regular planned visits

A regular planned visit is a great way to help pets with long term illness. For example, pets with diabetes, hormonal disease (such as Cushing's syndrome or Addison's syndrome, thyroid disease), heart disease, kidney disease, chronic inflammatory bowel disease or immune system-related disease are all likely to need life long medication and regular check-ups. Following diagnosis, we can help you and your pet get through the initial adjustment/acceptance period and establish a new routine. With regular planned visits (which range from weekly to monthly visits), we can monitor disease progression carefully and treat your pet proactively.

We can help you ensure that your pet keeps their quality of life and dignity for as long as possible. However, you may reach a point where, with a heavy heart, you conclude that the time has come to say good bye. We will help guide you through every step of the process and make the experience as peaceful as possible.
